What is it suitable for

My pitch will be suitable for college students and their first entry to college and how to get through college.

What I want to produce is...

I want to produce a tutorial about Radio Broadcasting. Radio Broadcasting is a one-way wireless transmission over radio waves intended to reach a wide audience. Radio Broadcasting is a part of everyday life. Hearing about the weather and the news in your car or on your mobile phone. Stations can be linked in radio network to broadcasting a common radio broadcast, either in broadcast syndication or simulcast or both.

Planning and Pitching - Radio

When planning and pitching a radio product you need to think of many different types of factors. You will need to learn about your age group and the statistics of what people listen to your broadcasts so you can try and find the best things to talk about for them. For example if your target audience is adults then you will want to talk about something adults watch/listen to such as the news and different events going on at that time. However if your age group were teens you would talk about the latest hits and songs for different genres.

As you can see 25% of adults claim to listen to the radio via a phone or tablet at least once per month. Up to 13% year on year.

As you can also see 36% of 15 - 24 year olds claim to listen to the radio via a mobile or tablet at least once per month
